Claude, the Movie Director

How the three THE DROP scenes were directed: Claude writes Seedance 2.0 prompts like a film director — six blocks that control the shot, camera, lighting, grade, pace and sound. The exact structure inside.

01Step 1
Cast your lead first
Generate ONE character still with Nano Banana 2 (outfit, age, face, one prop like the messenger bag). Then pass that image as a reference into every scene and repeat the outfit description. Same actor in every shot.
02Step 2
Direct in six blocks
Ask Claude to write each Seedance prompt as a director's shot card: SHOT (what happens), CAMERA (movement + one signature move), LIGHTING (sources, not adjectives), GRADE (palette + contrast + grain), PACE (the energy), AUDIO (3-4 concrete sounds). Structure beats adjectives every time.
03Step 3
Sound is half the movie
Turn audio generation ON and name the exact sounds in the AUDIO block: engine roar, scattering fruit, one heartbeat at the apex of the jump. Seedance composes them synced to the action, free.
One real shot card from THE DROP (copy the structure)
SHOT: night exterior, heavy rain — he rides a black cafe-racer at high
speed, weaving between cars through neon-lit traffic, glancing back.
CAMERA: low chase drone inches above wet asphalt, whip-pans on each
near-miss, speed ramp through a gap between two trucks.
LIGHTING: wet asphalt mirroring magenta and cyan neon, practical
headlights, hard rim light on the jacket.
GRADE: teal and orange blockbuster grade, deep blacks, film grain.
PACE: relentless, kinetic.
AUDIO: engine roar, rain hiss, doppler horns, tire spray.
